There is no one proper golf swing. All golfers have some unique characteristic that makes their swing different. However, there are certain fundamentals that all good golfers practice. If you practice these fundamentals, you can build a swing that will make you a consistent golfer.
Grip the club and set up to the ball with your feet and shoulders square to the target line. Your feet should be shoulder width apart.
Bend forward from the waist to a 45-degree angle and flex your knees for comfort. Your arms should be relaxed.
Swing the club back and turn your shoulders. Halfway through your backswing, the grip of the club should point toward the ball. Keep the lower body stable.
